Since Seasme Street just turned 40, I though I would celebrate by showing a young Michael Jackson on a Christmas Special: How sweet and nostalgic

If you remember, Ol Joe was left out of the will and is suing his late son’s estate for the following:
$2,500 eating out
$2,000 for air travel
$3,000 for hotel bills
$1,000 for groceries
$1,200 for rent
$ 50 Charitable Donations
For Real Joe!!!! LOL– Had to throw the 50 bones in for charity– Negro please. And how ridiculous that you spend $3000 a month in hotel bills, but your rent in $1200? I don’t know whether I should laugh or cry?

The movie grossed $21 million in the US making it Number 1 at the box office. Internationally, the movie brought in $101 million, making it the all time highest grossing music documentary in history– Mike does it again…

About time I heard some positive news about Mike:
MADISON ‑ On the heels of its Oct. 4 annual walkathon in Madison, the T.J. Martell Foundation will hold its 34th annual Awards Gala, a celebratory evening of fund-raising to support research for cures and treatments for leukemia, cancer and AIDS, on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Hilton New York Hotel.
Bringing together leaders from a variety of industries, the T.J. Martell Foundation’s annual Awards Gala serves to provide recognition for humanitarian work, and to raise funds for innovative research and treatments in the fight against leukemia, cancer and AIDS.
Country music legend Willie Nelson will headline this year’s event with jazz great Dianne Reeves and up-and-coming artist Kristina Train, and the Gala will pay a special posthumous tribute, its first-ever Legend award, to the late Michael Jackson, the single largest donor in the T.J. Martell Foundation’s 34-year history.
Every time I talk about or post something on Michael, it is hard to except the fact that he is gone– but It reminds me of a quote from Albert Pike: ” WHAT WE HAVE DONE FOR OURSELVES ALONE DIES WITH US; WHAT WE HAVE DONE FOR OTHERS AND THE WORLD REMAINS AND IS IMMORTAL. RIP MIKE

This will not end well:
La Toya Jackson has committed to giving her first one-on-one, in-depth television interview since her brother Michael Jackson died earlier this summer to Barbara Walters.
Share
Dr. Conrad Murray admits giving the singer several drugs before he died..The no-holds-barred interview will cover topics that include La Toya Jackson’s impressions of Michael Jackson’s children and her insight into the Jackson family.
La Toya Jackson, who signed Michael Jackson’s death certificate, will discuss her close relationship with her brother and reveal why she believes he was murdered. The interview is scheduled to air on “20/20″ on Friday, Sept. 11 at 10 p.m. ET.
I almost wish she would just grieve privately, because if you know anything about Latoya she suffers from diarrhea of the mouth and I am certain she will let her tongue get the best of her– which unfortunately will keep the circus surrounding Michael’s death going (sigh).

He was buried yesterday in a private ceremony:
GLENDALE, Calif. — Paris Jackson wept as she stepped into the mausoleum where her father, Michael, was to be entombed. Katherine Jackson, overcome by sorrow, turned back when she was faced with her son’s final resting place.
On a sultry Thursday evening, amid a sea of white flowers and with a bejeweled crown placed atop his casket by his children, the King of Pop was given an intimate, private version of the lavish public memorial held shortly after his death in June.
Gladys Knight performed the hymn “Our Father” (The Lord’s Prayer) and moved many to tears, according to one guest who asked not to be identified because of the sensitivity of the day.
When it was over, many of the the 200 mourners hugged each other. Among them were Elizabeth Taylor, Jackson’s ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley, Barry Bonds and Macaulay Culkin.
The Rev. Al Sharpton, who gave a eulogy at the public event and at Thursday’s service, also extolled Knight’s earlier performance of “His Eye is on the Sparrow.”
His body is at rest, his spirit is at peace and his soul, which was poured into the many, many, many hits he created over the years, will endure forever. Thank you for the music and the memories Michael, I love you.

This really is no surprise:
The Los Angeles County coroner has ruled Michael Jackson’s death a homicide, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press, a finding that makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who was with the pop star when he died.
The coroner determined a fatal combination of drugs was given to Jackson hours before he died June 25 in his rented Los Angeles mansion, according to the official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released. Forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol acted together with at least two sedatives to cause Jackson’s death, the official said.
Dr. Conrad Murray, a Las Vegas cardiologist who became Jackson’s personal physician weeks before his death, is the target of a manslaughter investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department. According to a search warrant affidavit unsealed Monday in Houston, Murray told investigators he administered a 25 mg dose of propofol around 10:40 a.m. after spending the night injecting Jackson with two sedatives in an unsuccessful attempt to get him to sleep.
So Dr. Murray will most likely go to trial. (Sigh) The joy of a whole new celebrity trial! I can’t hardly wait. The emotional masturbation of the American People continues…
Kudos to Mr. Carter- Very Well done:
