It is hot down in New Orleans, and we are not talking about the weather! The 2008 Essence music festival kicked off at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and Louisiana Superdome. Their were tons of big names bringing love to the Big Easy: Rihanna, Kanye West, J Holiday, Mary J Blidge, Sanaa Lathan, Lebron James, Patti LaBelle, and Chris Brown just to name at few. An estimated 200,000 came out to show the city some love.

Here is cassie’s non-singing ass again attending the soundtracks party in NYC. According to several sources, she will release a new album in September with producers like Ryan Leslie and Pharrell layin down some tracks.
What I can’t understand is why? She cannot sing, she cannot dance, watching her is not entertaining! Why is it at Bad Boy, REAL ARTIST get dropped (Carl Thomas, Faith Evans, 112) but this chick gets to release a second album…
My ears are bleeding already.
