Initial reports suggested city officials would force Lil Wayne into protective custody out of concern for the rapper’s safety and health following his dental surgery. However, Correction Department spokesman Stephen Morello tells the New York Daily News the Grammy winner will have “general population escort” status at Rikers Island.

Morello also claims the agency never received a request from Lil Wayne to be treated differently from other inmates, adding, “It’s his choice.”

The rapper could be out in eight months pending good behavior.

Lindsay Lohan is feuding with the E-Trade babies. The actress has filed a $100 million lawsuit claiming a television ad for the Wall Street firm that aired during the Super Bowl and Olympics was modeled after her.

Talking babies in the ad engage in chatter that refers to “milkaholic Lindsay.” The 23-year-old actress has famously sought substance abuse treatment.

Lohan’s name was never mentioned. But her New York lawyer contends that “Lindsay” is an equally recognizable moniker for her client — like that of Oprah or Madonna

First of all, no Lindsay does not have first name recognition like Madonna or Oprah. They need to stop with that foolishness. Next, this new E-Trade baby sucks. As for the ad, never thought of Lindsay Lohan until she filed this lawsuit. Had the baby flashed her vag as she was getting out of a car,  smoked on a crack pipe, or blew millions of her saved money on drugs, then I totally would have thought of Lohan.
