She fell and broke some of her ribs. Ouch!!! Click here to read about what happened.
They did it y’all. The score– One to Zero, but they defeated the Netherlands in a 116 minute game. Even Nelson Mandela came out to show support and Shakira performed her hit Waka Waka. Seems like a fun time was had by all. Congrats!!!
The Spanish design firm Designhouses, have recently completed the Hotel Viura, located in the Spanish wine region of Rioja Alavesa.
Named after the most widely planted white grape variety in Rioja, Viura is a new hotel with 26 guestrooms and seven suites, two bars and a restaurant. I can’t wait to visit!
This is such a sad story:
TAMPA – Two Tampa police officers have died after they were shot during a routine traffic stop early Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened at 50th Street and 34th Avenue at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday. Police have named two persons of interest in the case as they conduct a massive search in the area of the shooting.
Police Chief Jane Castor announced in a morning news conference that Officer Jeff Kocab, 31, had passed away, shortly after he was brought to Tampa General Hospital.
FOX 13 has learned that Officer Dave Curtis, also 31, was put on life support and pronounced dead around 8:30 a.m. at TGH.
<<< Second video: Tampa’s police chief and mayor speak of the tragedy.
Mayor Pam Iorio said Officer Jeff Kocab leaves behind a wife who is nine months pregnant. Officer Kocab had only been with Tampa police for 14 months and previously worked for the Plant City Police Department.
FOX 13 has learned that Officer Kocab’s wife has had some contractions Tuesday morning but has not gone into labor as was previously reported.
Officer Dave Curtis had been with the department for almost four years. Tampa police say he previously worked as a detention deputy with the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office. He has a wife and four boys between the ages of 8 months and 9 years old, the mayor said.
Police told FOX 13 that Curtis’ family will be donating his organs.
My prayers go out to the family. May the victims RIP, and those who committed this terrible act get the punishment they deserve.

This was easily the best performance of the night (even though I did not watch the entire show, I did check out the performances). I wish people would leave chris alone and allow him to move on with his life. He made a mistake and it is obvious that he is a great entertainer. Welcome back Chris:

He definitely was a great businessman:
Country singer Jimmy Dean, whose career as a storyteller was equaled later in life by his success as a sausage pitchman, died at his home in Varina, Virginia, on Sunday night at the age of 81. According to CNN, the Country Music Hall of Famer apparently died of natural causes.
Though later in life his name was most familiar for his famous line of smoked sausages, Dean made his mark first in the world of country music, scoring a #1 hit on the pop and country charts in 1961 with the song “Big Bad John,” a tune about a mysterious, Paul Bunyan-esque coal miner who saves his fellow workers after a mine collapse. Written with country legend Roy Acuff, the million-selling song won a 1962 Grammy for Best Country & Western Recording and helped save Dean’s recording career, after his label, Columbia Records, was considering dropping him.
It seems like in the summertime we lose alot of people. Condolences to all affected.
He will be sorely miss:
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Dennis Hopper, the high-flying Hollywood actor-director whose memorable career included the 1969 smash “Easy Rider,” has died. He was 74.
Family friend Alex Hitz says Hopper died Saturday at his Venice home, surrounded by family and friends. The actor had been battling prostate cancer.
Hopper’s roller coaster career also included “Rebel Without a Cause,” “Blue Velvet,” “Apocalypse Now” and “Hoosiers” as well as flops such as “The Last Movie.”
But the improbable success of the 1969 hippie-biker epic “Easy Rider” remained his biggest triumph. He not only co-starred but directed and co-wrote the film, which also starred Peter Fonda and Jack Nicholson.
Hopper, Fonda and Terry Southern were nominated for Oscars for best screenplay.
My deepest and most sincere condolences to his friends, family and fans.
