Picasso’s Guernica– Just fascinating 3D Work

Painted in 1905 by Pablo Picasso, “Garcon a la Pipe” (Boy with a Pipe) became one the most expensive painting ever sold at auction when it was sold in Sotheby’s in New York in May 2004 for a price of just over $104 million. This was a part of Picasso “Blue Period.”

How much would you spend on this painting. $100 dollars? $5,000 dollars. $10,000? Well, Van Gogh’s Portrait of Dr. Gachet sold for more than 83 million. Yes somebody paid 83 mil for that– much respect…

Created by artist Damien Hurst the skull cost $98,000,000 to make. The piece was commissioned for display at museums worldwide and was called “For the Love of God”. The skull is covered with 8,601 sparkling diamonds and has a main stone that is a 52-carat pear-shaped diamond fixed upon its forehead, this stone is further bordered with 14 additional diamonds. Amazing stuff people.
