A few days ago, Lil Wayne‘s highly anticipated album Tha Carter IV leaked in its entirety just before its planned release on Monday, August 29. But it doesn’t look like Internet’s going to crash Dweezy’s party, since early projections for the album—his first in years—have it selling at least 700,000 copies in its first week.
That’s a quarter million more than Jay-Z and Kanye West’sWatch the Throne sold in its first week.
Well I sure everyone’s ego will still be large as hell…

Eminem and Rihanna join forces at V Festival
Eminem closed out the first day of the U.K.’s V Festival with special guest Rihanna. The Bajan babe, who performed her own set earlier in the day at Stafford’s Weston Park, emerged from the side of the stage to duet with Marshall Mathers on their smash “Love the Way You Lie.” Thanks to YouTube, you can watch some fan-filmed footage below.

4″ debuted at number one here in the United States with 313,420 units sold. A little under 90,000 units were sold in the UK, and Beyonce debut at number one in 12 other countries as well. Congrats to Beyonce who has scored a number 1 album every time!
