This is not only true about fashion, but the entertainment business as a whole:
Lee Alexander McQueen’s ex-partner George Forsyth wants New York City’s fashionistas to quit their cryin’: The designer’s former beau says the outpouring of condolences of N.Y.C.’s “paper-thin” celebs is rubbish.
“The truth is, the fashion world is the loneliest place on the face of the planet. It’s a shallow world full of party people and party ‘friends.’ Lee knew that,’ ” he tells the London Daily Mail.
“A lot of the people in the audience were raising their glasses and getting into it, but chances are most of them couldn’t pick out one of his designs from a lineup.”
And while some of the grief flooding the fashion community may be genuine, Forsyth obviously feels McQueen isn’t being mourned appropriately.
“It’s been fashion, fashion, fashion … but what about him as a person?” he asks. “That’s the real loss and the real waste.”
I am glad he at least spoke the truth–may Lee McQueen RIP.
The supermodel, and wife to Andy Roddick, took to the January Issue of Elle magazine to demonstrate the proper way to rock masculine inspired cloths. Of course she does the cloths much justice. Pick up the latest edition of Elle Magazine (with Lady GaGa on cover) next Tuesday nationwide.

Whitney Houston has every reason to feel like a “Million Dollar Bill.” The pop diva’s new album enters the charts at No. 1, becoming the biggest first-week sales of her career and the best-selling first week by a female artist this year.
Houston’s first album in seven years, I Look to You, debuts with 304,801 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. This is her fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200. Outside the U.S., she holds the No. 1 spot in Canada, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
These numbers are Houston’s best opening sales week since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991. Her previous best first week was in 2002 with Just Whitney (205,000). I Look to You is also the singer’s first No. 1 since The Bodyguard soundtrack spent 20 weeks at No. 1 in 1993.
Elsewhere on the charts, Trey Songz’s Ready has the second-biggest debut of the week, landing at No. 3 with 131,000, while Pitbull’s Rebelution makes it way in at No. 8 with 41,000.
Congrats to Whitney, this is what America is all about– second chances. Now doesn’t this sound better to read this headline versus the headlines we have been reading about Whitney in the past– Keep up the good work… Source
I must admit that I am excited about this movie, but I am also excited about the daily candids that will be flowing from the set. All the pretty dress, fly shoes and must have accesories will be a much needed addition to the fall. Expect alot more where this came from:
