The ladies talk about Gay marriage, Fashion and of course Sex and The City 2! The movie is in theaters now!
If you have been out of the loop, the violence is so crazy in Chi-Town they needed to call in the National Guard. SMDH!
Stages are difficult places to be– Just ask Lady Gaga, who fell not once but twice during a performance in Montreal. The first once happens at 20 seconds in the video, the other one happens at 2:52
Sarah Palin stated in her book the reason she did the Katie Couric interview is because a McCain staffer said she has “low self esteem” and Palin felt sorry for her. (Long pause– fierce side eye)- WHAT?
Of course, the McCain staff is denying this completely– but the thing I am attempting to wrap my head around is, why would you agree to an interview JUST because you felt sorry for someone– Did you forget that you were running for VP. This woman is an idiot:
Palin claims in her new book that she agreed to sit down with Couric partly because she felt sorry for her, after senior McCain adviser Nicolle Wallace told her that Couric suffered from self-esteem problems. It’s understandable that Palin would try to deflect blame for the interview: It was a disaster that hastened her unmasking as unqualified for the presidency.
“It’s not true,” the McCain adviser I just reached said, laughing heartily at the claim. “It’s ridiculous.”
The adviser also provided more details on the strategy the campaign adopted with Palin and the press, saying they feared making her available to groups of reporters because of her incompetence.
“She lacked the knowledge base to stand in front of the press corps that was traveling with her and answer questions,” the adviser said delicately. “Because of the success of the convention speech, the feeling was that she should be exposed to as many people as possible directly, not through a media filter. The way to do that was to do interviews with the anchors.”
“The truth is, she refused to prepare for the Katie Couric interview,” the adviser continued. “She refused to engage in any preparation. And it was a disaster.”
Palin’s lies are so transparent, but I welcome more stories and actually hope she runs and wins the republican nomination in 2012– guaranteeing Obama four more years.

For making this size eight model look like a Brats doll. The horrible retouching makes her body look prepubescent and her head is larger than her pelvis. Ralph Lauren has released a statement however apologizing for the botch photo shop job:
‘For over 42 years, we have built a brand based on quality and integrity.
‘After further investigation, we have learned that we are responsible for the poor imaging and retouching that resulted in a very distorted image of a woman’s body.
‘We have addressed the problem and going forward will take every precaution to ensure that the calibre of our artwork represents our brand appropriately.’
They do this so often, and most of the time the model looks better before the retouching. With that said, I am still a Ralph Lauren stan…

Yeah!! Now this is how you do a comeback!!!
Whitney Houston has every reason to feel like a “Million Dollar Bill.” The pop diva’s new album enters the charts at No. 1, becoming the biggest first-week sales of her career and the best-selling first week by a female artist this year.
Houston’s first album in seven years, I Look to You, debuts with 304,801 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. This is her fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200. Outside the U.S., she holds the No. 1 spot in Canada, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
These numbers are Houston’s best opening sales week since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991. Her previous best first week was in 2002 with Just Whitney (205,000). I Look to You is also the singer’s first No. 1 since The Bodyguard soundtrack spent 20 weeks at No. 1 in 1993.
Elsewhere on the charts, Trey Songz’s Ready has the second-biggest debut of the week, landing at No. 3 with 131,000, while Pitbull’s Rebelution makes it way in at No. 8 with 41,000.
Congrats to Whitney, this is what America is all about– second chances. Now doesn’t this sound better to read this headline versus the headlines we have been reading about Whitney in the past– Keep up the good work…

The blogosphere was buzzing that Lil Wayne is NOT the father of her unborn child. Well she responded:

Yep, your credit card company is trying to jack up your interest rates when your not looking:
Even after the Federal Reserve reduced their borrowing costs, the nation’s banks raised credit card rates and boosted profit from the consumer debt in the first half of 2009, according to a consumer advocacy group.
The Pew Safe Credit Cards Project said Monday the median lowest advertised credit card rate rose to 11.99% in July from 9.99% in December. At the same time, the group said, the profit banks made on credit card debt rose 46%.
The group, which says on its Web site that it seeks to “protect customers from unfair credit card practices,” said its figures are based on a survey of nearly 400 credit card issuers. The full results of the survey are scheduled to be published next month.
To make a long story short, remember that as a consumer, you have the right to negotiate your rates. If it is too high, ask them to lower it for you, if they decline, keep asking for the next person up until you see results. Be personable and friendly and nine times out of ten you will get your desired results. Don’t be a fool in 2009, read the fine print and make sure you pay at least the minimum balance every month. Good luck.
