Jay Z Must Love Hermes
This really sounds like Jay’s PR sent this story to the press to impress the weak-minded, otherwise, must be nice:
Beyonce got some sweet gifts yesterday. Her husband, Jay-Z, was spotted shopping at Hermes’ plush Madison Avenue boutique on Christmas Eve. A spy reports, “Jay was in a private room of Hermes doing last-minute shopping. He had a guard standing watch outside. He spent $350,000 on Birkin bags, among other things.” The buying binge took so long, Jay-Z missed his scheduled lunch at Nello, prompting the restaurateur to deliver his food to the store.
Birkin Bags have gone from the most exclusive bag in the world, to just another over exposed expensive item, due to the fact everyone and their momma has one, from Hermes or the bootleg man. Nonetheless, Hermes and Jay both get free publicity so (*side-eye*).

Natalie Portman’s 2011 Will Be Big
People are predicting that she will win an Oscar for “Black Swan” and now she is pregnant and engaged:
Natalie Portman has revealed that she has not only gotten engaged to her boyfriend, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, but that they are also expecting their first child. In an official statement to Entertainment Weekly, the 29-year-old says she is overcome with joy about the news.
“I have always kept my private life private but I will say that I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have this experience,” Portman revealed earlier this week.
The news comes at a busy time for the actress, who has just earned a nomination as Best Actress for the 2010 Online Critics Society Awards for her role in “Black Swan.” The film leads the pack for this year’s OCSA’s with seven nominations including Best Direction for Darren Aronofsky and Best Supporting Actress for Mila Kunis.

Must be nice:
Jay’s been tapped to perform at the exclusive opening of a new hotel in Las Vegas New Year’s eve. Rumors swirled about Jay’s million dollar gig earlier this year [click here if you missed that] and now the rumors have been confirmed. And while the initial multi-million quote was off, a million dollars for one show is still ten paces past bananas.
Going to Vegas On New Years is expensive, I have heard the nosebleed seats went for around 200 dollars. Hey, if people are stupid enough to pay that kind of money, why should he make the money?
