According to the Official Charts Company, which tracks music sales in Britain, the more than 410,000 copies of “I Dreamed a Dream” sold since its release Nov. 23 make it the fastest selling album so far this year, and are the largest first-week sales for a debut album in U.K. chart history.

Congrats to Susan, she will also debut at Number one in the States Tomorrow– The official numbers will be released later tonight.

Rihanna’s much hyped ‘Rated R’ entered the chart at #16, with dismal sales of 32,000. She was promoted very heavily and industry insiders are shocked at the low sales. I have to be 100 and say that the album is actually VERY GOOD. It is cohesive and the songs are catchy, so you can expect them (like GGGB) to promote this record for the next year, at least…
