Let me say for the record I am deeply disappointed at how these nuts have taken over the republican party. At the end of the day, a party is only as good as it’s IDEAS– not emotional jargon and petty name calling. The foundation of conservatism has and will always remain a great idea. Individualism, less government, and competition. At this point it is hard to argue that these things have not made this country great, however the republican party abandoned those fundamental truths for shit like “gay marriage” (privacy anyone), Terri Shiavo (remember her?) and ineffective and unnecessary military nihilism (Iraq). This is what the party is reduce to, and it is a shame:
