President Obama got gangsta last night!! Wow homie, you got the President telling it like it is, even though this story is already starting to get on my nerves.
During a CNBC interview on Monday, President Obama called hip-hop artist Kanye West a “jackass” over his behavior at the MTV Video Music Awards. (Watch video of Kanye at the VMAs here.)
Obama’s colorful remark was actually made in an off-the-record portion of the interview that was tweeted — and then deleted — by ABC News reporter Terry Moran.
“Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a ‘jackass’ for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’S presidential,” Moran wrote.
Politico’s Michael Calderone has ABC’s statement apologizing for Moran’s journalistic breach.
In other news, how many people are going to be losing their jobs over twitter. If it is off the record, then it is off the record. This “journalist” needs to lost their job for this– absolutely unprofessional. Seriously. With all due respect Mr. President, if you want to get gully with someone, get gully with these damn right-wingers and the members of Congress who are hindering your progress. You’re coming hard at the wrong person on the wrong issue. Damn what Kanye did to Taylor; start caring about what the lawmakers in DC and the birthers are doing to YOU.
