Eva Longoria Parker and George Lopez are the hosts of September’s ALMA Awards, which celebrate Latino achievement in entertainment.Organizers say it will be the first time the awards will air during National Hispanic Heritage Month. The ceremony honoring those who work in film, TV and radio will also feature new categories, including one for emerging young talent and a sports award.
“Desperate Housewives” star Longoria Parker, who is one of the show’s executive producers, says the ALMA Awards represent the determination and “soul” of Latinos.
The awards ceremony will air Sept. 18 on ABC.

*(Rant Started)* Why would you re-release an album that just came out? I mean, isn’t that disrespectful for the fans who went out and supported your stuff from the beginning? This is just a ploy to sell records, but just put all the songs on your record from the get go, and then more people would purchase your music. Beyonce came out with a double album just for the purpose of increasing her album sales. According to Nielson soundscan rules,each CD will be counted for the billboard charts. This means if Beyonce sold One cd, according to the charts, shesold two cds. So her disc that has gone double platinum, HAS ONLY SOLD HALF THAT AMOUNT. If artist would focus on the music and stop handing people these half ass cd’s then there would be no need for gimmicks to get people to buy your music. *(Rant over)*
This dude has seemingly lost his mind. He has his own channel on justintv where he is doing the truman show- for real. The purpose for this is so Marbury can pitch a reality show (sigh). Here is a clip of Stephon Marbury playing a song called “Lean On Me” by Kirk Franklin on his laptop and then starts crying. I don’t know why he cries. Maybe it’s a cry for help?
The real housewives of Atlanta is back for season two. If her own clothing lines accessory department is too sorry to produce some decent shoes which you can wear in your own advertisement, then this ad fails to do it’s job. That is all.
