Girl Please, you are giving me too much. If you want to save marriage, start with heterosexual couples– the divorce rate tops 55%.

This type of foolishness is exactly why I am blessed to be an American:
An 8-year-old Saudi girl has divorced her middle-aged husband after her father forced her to marry him last year in exchange for about $13,000, her lawyer said Thursday.
The girl was allowed to divorce the 50-year-old man after an out-of-court settlement had been reached in the case, said her lawyer, Abdulla al-Jeteli. The exact date of the divorce was not immediately known. They were married in August.
Everyone take a good long traditional religious marriage. This is exactly what it looks like, where the poor girl is nothing more than a piece of property…

Everyone is losing their minds over Swine Flu:
In response to an intensifying outbreak in the United States and internationally caused by a new influenza virus of swine origin, the World Health Organization raised the worldwide pandemic alert level to Phase 5
on April 29, 2009. A Phase 5 alert is a “strong signal that a pandemic is imminent and that the time to finalize the organization, communication, and implementation of the planned mitigation measures is short.”
The United States Government has declared a public health emergency in the United States. CDC’s response goals are to reduce transmission and illness severity, and provide information to help health care providers, public health officials and the public address the challenges posed by this emergency. CDC is issuing and updating interim guidance daily in response to the rapidly evolving situation. CDC’s Division of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) continues to send antiviral drugs, personal protective equipment, and respiratory protection devices to all 50 states and U.S. territories to help them respond to the outbreak. The swine influenza A (H1N1) virus is susceptible to the prescription antiviral drugs oseltamivir and zanamivir. In addition, the Federal Government and manufacturers have begun the process of developing a vaccine against this new virus.
And of course, now to the foolishness. The origin of the Flu is unknown, but racist are using this as an excuse to blame Mexicans. THE CDC stated they believe the flu started from Catholic School Children in NEW YORK (QUEENS to be exact) who traveled to Cancun for a week; They reportedly spread the disease to the locals and off it goes. This school was the first to be quarantined.
With that said, it amazes me how mindless and idiotic so many people are…
Many have been calling for the US to close the borders. Close the border, for what, have you forgotten how many diseases Americans have spread. Not to mention, if you understand where officials said the flu came from– what are we going to do, stop Catholic school children from New York from traveling.
Seems to me another reason for low IQ waste of skin to talk that xenophobic bullshit
(*RANT OVER*)
Also, lets be real– the health care system in America is far from perfect, but its a world’s difference (in terms of access and availability) than Mexico -A COMMON SENSE REASON to explain why the severity has been so different.

Sarah Jessica Parker will be a mom again very soon:
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick will be taking on new roles: parents of twin girls.
The “Sex and the City” star and her actor-husband are expecting twins through a surrogate pregnancy, representatives for the couple said Tuesday.
Parker, 44, and Broderick, 47, “are happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate. The entire family is overjoyed,” said a statement from the publicists.
Congrats to the whole family. I wonder what Carrie’s, I mean Jessica’s style will look like as a pregnant women, times 2?? On the other hand, Hollywood sure likes In Vitro (you didn’t think all these women were pregnant with twins naturally, did you?)
Halle Berry blew everyone away as she arrives to the “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” screening in LA. The 42 year old mom wore this amazing little black dress, and showed all these twenty somethings how it is done. She is not even in the movie, yet all eyes were on her. I also can see she is slowly but surely inching back to her signature short hair, this time with blonde highlights. She really looks amazing and super sexy. Proof that she still has it–Do it Halle!! Several Pics after the jump:

Christina Applegate graces the cover of People Magazine for its annual Most Beautiful List. The recent breast cancer survivor talks about her appreciation for life and her body after her recent struggles. Other than that, the list comprises the same people year after year. This by far is the most predictable and irrelevant list in the history of magazines. Next…
Jessica Alba recently celebrated her 28th birthday, and the new mom and wife opted for a quiet and peaceful dinner with her husband. Cash Warren accompanied her to Cecconis in LA where the movie star once again battled against the persistent paparazzi. She looks great (as usual) Happy B-day Jess; more pics after the jump:

Rihanna just purchased a two-story, 4 bedroom, 4-bath mansion in the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles.
Built in 1980, the house features a sweeping view of the city and covers just over 3570 square feet in living space.
The cost of Rihanna’s new pad? A cool $2.67 million. You bet your bottom dollar that is about a 25,000 a month mortgage payment– Must be nice…
